Santorini training camp

Publié le par Guillaume Néry

Between the 8th of June and the 2nd of July, I spent more than 3 weeks in Santorini to train at depth. It has become a tradition for me since 2008 to spend some time in Greece at the beginning of the summer. After 2 years in Crete, 1 year in Kalamata, Stavros Kastrinakis, the organiser decided to organise the trip in the touristic island of Santorini.

During 24 days, despite very hard conditions (strong wind), I did some nice deep dives in the 3 disciplines (Constant weight with fin, constant weight no fins and free immersion) as main goal the adaptation to the depth. The target of this year is the world championship organised in Kalamata (Greece) between the 15th and the 25th of September).

Bonjour Guillaume!,

Comment alle-vous aujourd hui? Je suis Rob McBee. Pardon si vous plait mon francais. Mon francais es tres mal. I am currently studying the language but have few opportunities to practice.

The sport, and art, of freediving has long intrigued me and I follow your blog with great interest. I wanted to wish you all the best during your training and in the upcoming World Championships.
